| Go Green (and Naked) |
A humorous look at the positive side of being natural is the basis for a commercial for the just-launched Planet Green television. The new channel is the first and only 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network and will reach 50 million homes with more than 250 hours of original green lifestyle programming in an informative and entertaining manner. For those who may not have seen the commercial, it features a woman who is naked in line at a bank talking to a clothed customer about the environmental benefits of people wearing fewer clothes to keep from turning down the thermostat. To make her point, the woman motions toward a bank security guard who is completely nude except for his gun belt. Watch the video at Planet Green.

| Residents Propose Nudity Ban on Vermont Beach |
For decades, people have visited Southwest Cove nude beach in Vermont, but now some local residents want beachgoers to cover up. The beach is not visible from the highway, and signs advise visitors: “Be advised, you may encounter nude bathers.” Yet residents
say they want to be able to use the beach without worrying that their children might see nude sunbathers. Regulars to Southwest
Cove say the nude beach area doesn’t cause any trouble and has been an accepted part of the area for a quarter of a century. The town of Westmore’s Select Board and the Vermont Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation have been asked to look at the issue before but decided to leave the situation as is. Due to the fact that Vermont has no laws banning nudity, enforcement remains a question, but the board will reconsider the issue when it meets on June 23. Read more, view photos and take an online poll at Southwest Cove.
