Much has been reported recently about the lack of young people (18-35) in nudist resorts. One of the many things attributed to this is that young adults are in the process of getting established, with budding careers, families, and a lack of disposable income to spend.
Many nudist resorts have made attempts at welcoming this age group
by advertising special rates, events specifically designed for that age group, and other incentives to participate.

The Travelites, a non-landed club in the Carolinas has sponsored a chili cookoff for several years. What began as a challenge between friends has turned into a major annual event and seems to become more popular every year.
This year’s competition will be held at Cedar Creek Nudist Park near Pelion on Saturday, Jan. 12.
Grounds fee for club members is $15 for the day. ANNR/TNS members pay $26.40. Registration for the cookoff is an additional $2.00 per person in addition to grounds fees.
