Naked Pumpkin Run
While not really a nudist event, it’s always fun to take your clothes off and play in the cold. Boulder, Colorado is not really the place I’d want to be naked on Halloween, but a pumpkin probably beats wearing a hot scratchy polyester pirate costume.

No costumes allowed: Naked Pumpkin Run set for Wednesday
As area children spend their Halloween night going door-to-door for candy, some of Boulder’s more mature celebrants will unite Wednesday night for the city’s “largest and longest running community arts project” — the annual Naked Pumpkin Run.
According to the event’s Web site, www.nakedpumpkinrun.org, “strapping young lads and lasses take to the streets in a fine blend of artistry, harmless debauchery and, most importantly, nudity,” after dark Wednesday.
For times, meeting locations and other questions, e-mail organizers at thenakedpumpkinrun@gmail.com or visit the Web site.
Participants are encouraged to bring friends, shoes — and that’s about it.
Pumpkins will be provided, but donations are accepted.
The Boulder-born event has spread, and this year there are expected runs in Bloomington, Ind., Phoenix and Seattle.
