These guys are having a good time bowling and some idiot walks through blacked-out doors, past signs and then has the nerve to complain that he is offended. From reading the comments to this article, it looks like the residents of Maine are pretty cool about nudism.

In Old Town, nude bowlers breaking no laws

OLD TOWN - They wore bowling shoes, but nothing else.

Some nudists who have been renting the Old Town Bowling Center for private parties don’t appear to be breaking any laws or ordinances, but they are having fun candlepin bowling and playing pool.

We’ve all heard the jokes about what our colleagues who work from home are wearing — or not. For Tom Mulhall, though, telecommuting naked is no joke. Rather, it’s good business. The owner (along with his wife) of The Terra Cotta Inn clothing-optional resort and spa in Palm Springs, Calif., Mulhall wrote to us this week “just wearing a smile” to say that 80% of their guests bring laptops and work nude poolside. He was commenting on a study we wrote about last year that found one in eight male teleworkers and one in 14 female teleworkers say they do their jobs in the nude. I followed up with Mulhall and asked him a few questions about computing in the altogether.

It appears that some of our textile brothers are thinking about our lifestyle. In a post on Christianity.com’s Faith Community Network, jonah.1825 asks the question; “Why not Christian Nudism?”

Jonah says “If society was one big nudest colony the pornography industry would go out of business because nobody would notice or care. God created the human body and by covering it up in the name of modesty, we create an unhealthy interest about what is being covered.”

In general, there seems to be very limited christian charity and good will to men present in this forum. Responses vary from the typical quotes of the Old Tesatament pulled from context to the re-writing of history. (more…)
