AANR Convention 2007 at The Willamettans – Make reservations now
This week the office was treated to a “sneak peak” of the keynote speaker that the Willamettans has arranged for the 2007 AANR Convention, and we can tell you that it may be the most interesting person yet! We won’t “steal their thunder” by revealing it here. But we WILL tell you that you should make your reservations to attend NOW if you haven’t already done so, as spaces will be filling fast given the slate of speakers, activities, and great food planned as part of this celebration.

For your convenience, we will be including a PDF version of the Willamettans’ registration form on the AANR website within the very near future.

AANR.com gets boost in December traffic from Forbes, Google Search Engine
This month the number of visitors to the aanr.com website was among the strongest of the year. By midnight on Sunday, the number of pages downloaded from the site in December alone will total over 275,000. This means more people are learning about your clubs and nude recreation.

Increasingly, the Google search engine has been sending us a considerable number of visitors each day, thanks to some modifications by our webmaster, Captain Jack. We also got a lift this month from the Forbes magazine article in the December 25th issue. Another interesting statistic: More than one in three visitors to aanr.com bookmark it for a future visit.

Happy New Year to all from Linda, Lynn, Martha, and Angie.
Lynn Von Hagel ended the year on a high note. Her first grandbaby was born on December 28. Her name is Madison Lynn. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz, 20 inches long.

WILL YOU NEED BROCHURES IN 2007?
If you know in advance of trade shows, festivals, music fests, etc. where you will need AANR brochures, please let me know so that we can make sure we have a supply on hand for you.

AANR Board Meeting
The board meeting will be coming up in a few months. Lake Como is having their Bike Week the same weekend so you will need to make reservations early.

Remember the cruise will be returning on February 13th and the board meeting follows. If you are planning to stay at these resorts, I would suggest making reservations as early as possible as they offer packages for the nude cruisers before and after the cruise.

St Pete Times is doing an article on Nudist Clothing Stores i.e Under the Sun as well as the stores at some of the resorts. No scheduled print date.

We are also working with a show called ‘Spotlight On.’

We salute The Sequoians on a great PR piece which was picked up in over a half dozen news outlets. Several quotes from AANR were included in the articles.

Calling all clubs
Do you have humorous ideas about a potential “fight” or “encounter” between nudists or between nudists and clothed people that could give rise to a funny story or cartoon? It’s open season on this topic as we are working on a couple of ideas for a cartoon that may run in a future issue of The Bulletin and may assist a journalist with a related assignment.

Feel free to get creative. We will award an AANR Tee shirt and ball cap to the winning idea. We need your ideas no later than January 6th. Have fun!!
